This t-shirt lists the unions involved in the International Paper strike: United Paperworkers International Union (UPIU), American Federation of Labor (AFL), Congress of Industrial Organizations (CIO), and Canadian Labor Congress (CLC). 

The Local 14 was Jay, Maine's branch of the UPIU. At the time, the union was comprised of fifty-six national and international unions, together representing more than 12 million active and retired workers.
